  1. Due to the fact that I am going to be a foreign language teacher, this article is of special interest for me. The way of assessment of outcomes in the FLC (foreign language classroom) in Austria changed considerably in the last few years: from former excessive assesment of the correct usage of grammar and written text structures towards taking the four basic language skills, namely speaking, reading, writing and listening, more and more into consideration. Of course the basic aim is still the correst reproduction of the target-language, but also the ability to communicate is attributed more and more importance. Furthermore, in oral exams the appropriate usage of the target-language represents more value than the correct account of mere facts.
